Poster Award Winners

Congratulations to the Transcriptional Regulation in Development and Disease poster award winners!

Jens Rister, New York University, USA
Poster title: Single base pair differences in a shared regulatory motif determine differential expression of color-sensing Rhodopsins in Drosophila.

Paschalis Kratsios, University of Chicago, USA
Poster title: Hox proteins generate neuronal diversity by regulating the transcriptional output of a single terminal selector gene.

Transcriptional Regulation in Development and Disease will bring together researchers studying developmental biology and its disruption in disease with those examining the specific molecular and cellular mechanisms of transcriptional regulation.

In addition to the presentations from the invited speakers, we are also eagerly anticipating hearing from you about emerging exciting discoveries that can be considered for presentation at the meeting in the form of short talks or posters on topics including:

  • Developmental dynamics
  • Transcriptional memory and plasticity
  • Non-coding RNAs and retroelements
  • Chromatin structure and epigenetics
  • Stem cells and developing systems
  • Tools and techniques for in vivo analysis

We also hope you will take advantage of the chance to hear from Cell Press editors during our Author Workshop. This informal Q&A session is a great chance to get an editorial perspective on effectively communicating about your research.
